Busy Mommy!

Well, it's been almost a year since I've added to this blog and since I haven't been very good about keeping a journal, I am going to have a lot to say today. :) Kodiak turned 2 yrs old and Cheyanna will turn 1 in a week from today. Kodiak is cracking me up because he has become so bossy and tells Chey "don't touch that, that kodiak's, you'll be in big trouble, I'll kick your butt." Long sentence for such a little guy. The other day I told him I was going to take him to his playgroup and he yelled at me and said "mommy, get dressed now!" I asked him the other day if he was poopy and he said he doesn't poop...ok then. His favorite movie is Cars. He has almost everyone of the characters and hauls them everywhere with him. Lately he has been parking his tractors on their backs on the stairs saying they tipped over. Funny little boy.

Cheyanna has been crawling everywhere and fell down the stairs a week ago and fractured her tibia. She continues to crawl. She is starting to say words and is an exact replica of me. She teases and teases (everyone) until the person screams and then she laughs her head off. Her favorite thing to do is to sit behind Kodiak and grab his hair with both hands and pull. The louder he screams, the harder she laughs. She is definitely all girl.

Kyle is currently working as a mechanic and still working on his 4 runner (rock crawler). Although his boss has now gotten him into wanting to build a buggy (rock crawler with just a frame) and a tough truck (for racing and mud bogging.) Ambition is high at our house.

Meanwhile I am on a homemade obsession right now. Mr friend Anna has gotten me on this kick of wanting to refinish things and make all this stuff and the snowball has grown to include all my sewing, knitting, crocheting, stitching, woodworking, painting, and other crafty ambitions that have laid dormant for a few years. I am also in the middle of taking foster care classes, we are becoming foster parents. Yes, I am aware of the stereotypical danger associated with it. Also, I just got a job offer as an on call medical assistant for the county. And in February, I am auditioning for the local college's ballroom team. Needless to say I'm very busy. But I am loving every minute of it.
