Recap
For those of you who haven't heard the wonderful stories of the animal life in Chester, here is a recap.....When we were originally buying the house, we found an animal hole in the basement and a rabbit outside. Kyle shot the rabbit and we thought our critter problem was solved. Well, the day we moved in, we not only found 5 birds (4 dead) in our chimney, but a rock chuck roaming around our basement. Kyle decided he wanted it dead so he shot his .45 in our basement and it rumbled so badly, I felt it tingling my fingers upstairs. Another one of my favorite events since living here is the deer incident. I went to Wal Mart at 9pm one night to get Kyle some medicine and on my way back a huge black shadow filled my headlights. While slamming on my brakes I saw a big bull elk in the middle of my lane. He eventually walked off the road and I continued home, quite a bit shaken. A mile or two further on I saw a deer in the road. I slowed down and honked my horn and as soon as it was out of my lane, I started to accelerate again, just as an entire herd of deer slam into the back passenger side door of my car. Kodiak was in the back seat falling asleep and it scared the crap out of us both. I got home and was near tears and when I went to tell Kyle about it he said "did it dent the car?" and then went to bed. No sympathy there. A couple days later, I was driving home and a flock of geese ran into the road. I almost hit about 3 of them. The latest occurance is a couple nights ago, I was on my way to Wal Mart (do you notice a pattern) and Kyle was cussing out the slow drivers when, on the left side of the highway, there was a herd of elk, at least a hundred, all facing the road single file. I have never seen an elk before that time I almost hit it, and this was an aweing sight. Now I have this urge to go hunting. Don't ask me how. Anyway, this, is the life in Chester.

The Beginning
Kyle and Kara were married on June 28, 2008 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yes, we eloped, and no, it wasn't because Kara was pregnant. :) We spent the first year of our lives living in Payson, Utah and were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple in American Fork, Utah on June 30, 2009. Two weeks later, July 12, 2009, we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy who looks just like Kyle. We named him Kodiak Kyle Adams. He is a sweet, sweet baby and smarter than his mama sometimes. Kara is a stay at home mom who sells Pampered Chef on the side just for fun to get some time with the girls. Kyle currently works at Wilson Audio Spec. in Provo, Utah. We recently moved to Chester, Utah where we love it! We have a wonderful ward, lots of snow, and plenty of wildlife. The day we moved in, we had animals everywhere and cannot even drive to Wal Mart without seeing deer, geese, Sheep, or Elk. There is never a dull moment at the Adams' house. We are always partying around the house, getting our trucks stuck in the mud/snow, and having a grand old time. This, is who we are.
